If that is the size, I don't think you have to wait long to see the first dominant male in colour. As soon as they are well settled in your tank the stronger male will start to colour up (bluish body, no more vertical bars) even if I believe that the texas-masc will come at last.
Young Longola males start colouring up when they are very small.
At 10 cm they are already almost in full colours, but only if in the same tank there are not bigger males or other dominant fish.
